邦楽史上、最も耳元で聴きたい声。
2007年、岡林信康「チューチップのアップリケ」を含むアルバムでデビュー、翌年テレビ朝日アニメ「魔法遣いに大切なこと〜夏のソラ〜」でシンガーソングライターのYASUKO役で声優＆劇中曲、エンディングを担当。現在は、韓国語での楽曲リリースもし、活動の場を全国各地＆韓国に広げて活動中。最近は、アーユルヴェーダのカレーとLiveのイベントも話題に。City pop coverアルバムは、2023年に続き2作目。

Miku Sasao (singer, song writer, Ayurveda therapist, cafeCUMIN）
A singer described as someone with a voice you'd most want to hear right next to you. In 2007, she debuted with an album featuring a cover of Nobuyasu Okabayashi's “Tulip no Applique. In 2008, she was selected as a voice actress for the TV anime "Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto ~Natsu no Sora~." She also provided the soundtrack and ending theme.

Currently, she is releasing songs in Korean, expanding her activities throughout Japan and Korea. Outside of music, she holds an Ayurvedic certification. She regularly hosts curry and live music events, attracting attention.

This city pop cover album marks her second, following her first in 2023.

Miku Sasao's second city pop cover album is here! Includes five tracks: "Fry-day Chinatown," "Sky Restaurant," "Love Story wa Totsuzen ni," "Seppun," and "Tokai." Combined with Miku Saso's whispering vocals, this album truly deserves to be called mellow city pop. This album is once again sound-produced by bassist Naoki Itaya, and features Kei Takasugi on guitar and Takashi Nakazato on percussion. It's a crossover of smooth, urbane programmed sounds and live instruments.

★Fry-day Chinatown

The original was Yasuha's debut song in 1981. The BPM has been lowered to 90 to emphasize the mellowness. It's a song that adults can relax and dance to. The "Friday" in the title does not mean "Friday" but "FLY-DAY" (a coined word) meaning "flight."

★Sky Restaurant

This 1975 hit is a signature song by Hi-Fi Set, with lyrics written by Yumi Arai. To preserve the atmosphere of the original work, this song was produced at the same tempo as the original. The song is simplified by cycling through four chords, allowing the vocals and lyrics to stand out even more.

★Love Story wa Totsuzen ni

A hit song by Kazumasa Oda that was the theme song for a 90s TV drama. This song was recorded at the request of Miku Sasao, and is a song that holds a special meaning for her.

★Seppun

A representative song from ORIGINAL LOVE (Tajima Takao) from 1993. This song expresses the feelings of a man that you probably won't hear in Sasao Miku's original work.
