阿部真央は2009年アルバム『ふりぃ』でデビュー、同世代の女性を中心に幅広い層から支持され、圧倒的な存在感をともなったライブパフォーマンスも高く評価されるシンガーソングライター。 自身のライブや楽曲のリリースはもちろん、数々のアーティストとのコラボレーションや楽曲提供など精力的にキャリアを重ね、 2023年7月にはポニーキャニオンIRORI Records内にプライベートレーベルKAGAYAKI RECORDSの設立を発表。
2024年にはデビュー15周年を迎え全国5都市9箇所にて「15th Anniversary Abe Mao Solo/Zepp Live Tour 2024」を開催。

Acoustic album "Acoustic -Self Cover" was released on September 20, 2023 as the first work of the private label "KAGAYAKI RECORDS" established by singer-songwriter Mao Abe in partnership with Pony Canyon IRORI Records.
