ハワイアンミュージックのプロデュースでは、ハワイのグラミー賞であるナホク賞、ヒップホップ、ネオソウル・R&Bジャンルではグラミー賞へも作品がノミネートされるハワイ島・ビッグアイランド在住プロデューサー JAZ KAIWIKO’O（ジャズ・カイウィコオ）アーバンアイランドシーンを牽引する存在として知られるSFベイエリア出身のフィリピーノ・ハワイアンヒップホップアーティストだ。現在はハワイ島・コナサイドでラッパー、B-BOY、ラジオMC、ブラジリアン柔術師範、またフラ指導までも行うハワイアンカルチャーの伝道師である。自身がプログラム・ディレクターとして1998年よりレギュラーを務めるKAPAハワイアンFMではいち早くアイランドレゲエ界のプリンス J-BOOGやビッグアイランドのジャングルに生息するルーツロックレゲエ・ラスタ集団 THE I*N*ITESを紹介したことで知られている早耳DJでもある。ハイクオリティな楽曲プロデュース、また陽気で親しみのあるキャラクターでハワイ諸島内のアイランドミュージック・コミュニティから絶大な信頼を得ている。近年ではハワイアンミュージックのプロデュースのほか、ユニークなコンセプトのビートテープをリリース、ブラジリアン柔術スパーリング（模擬戦）の合間に、ラッパー、ビートメイカーとして活躍中。

Jaz Kaiwiko’o is a Hawaii based producer, singer, rapper, and songwriter that made his start as a B-Boy & Hip Hop Dj in 1983 in San Francisco, California. Growing up around a musical family, Jaz eventually taught himself to play Drums & Keyboards listening to old funk records . 30 years later Jaz combines his musical taste with an approach of a DJ live at the club, creating emotion & movement in the music as a Dj would do by “Beat Juggling”. Jaz is credited for being the first Filipino / Polynesian to be on wax as a rapper in the 80’s (then known as Jay love). Aside from his production work in Neosoul & Rap, Jaz is an award winning Hawaiian Music Producer. and the Original drummer / member of the Contemporary Hawaiian Band "EHUKAI" (not to be confused with the band Ka Ehu kai). Ehukai was Known for the song "Moloka'i Slide" which won the band 2 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (Hawaii Grammy). Jaz currently performs locally in both Hawaiian & RnB collaberations as well as being a Morning radio personality & porgram Director for both KAPA Hawaiian Fm (kaparadio.com) and Native Fm Nativefm.com. He also is co-owner of JnK Productions & The Lahui Project. An entertaiment company as well as a Record label for Native Hawaiian Artist.
