ハワイアンレゲエグループ Citysideのリードヴォーカルとして知られる日系ハワイアンレゲエ・R&BシンガーのKekoa Tsukiyamaが南カリフォルニアサンディエゴへと居を移し、Kekoa the Artistとして再始動。ハワイ諸島出身者とL.A.ローカルを中心に構成された人気サーフロックレゲエバンド、Rian Basilio & the Roostersのギタリストであり、オリジナルダブマスター SCIENTISTとのdub対決でも知られるプロデューサー Josh Cardinali (Stoney Eye Studios) などとタッグを組み、現在マッシブなEPを連発中！

Kekoa The Artist, a by-product from the island of Maui and Oahu, HI, is a singer, songwriter, and talented musician with versatile vocals that will have you wanting more. His positive energy, warrior mentality, and old school values bring a unique combination that vibrates the love of 90’s R&B, beats of new school hip hop, and cool, peaceful vibes of island reggae.
Kekoa Tsukiyama, the Japanese-American-Hawaiian reggae/R&B singer known as the lead singer of the Hawaiian reggae group Cityside, has relocated to San Diego, California, and relaunched as Kekoa the Artist. He's currently working on a massive EP with producer Josh Cardinali (Stoney Eye Studios), known for his dub battles with original dub master SCIENTIST, and featuring Rian Basilio & the Roosters, a popular surf rock reggae band comprised of Hawaiian Islanders and L.A. locals.

When it comes to legendary covers in the Jawaiian-Hawaiian reggae history, the cover of the same song by DIANE & DA BOYZ is well-known. This version has been updated for 2025 by California-based dub master Josh Cardinali (Stoney Eye Studios). The B-side features the smoky “FEEL GOOD” (Prod. by Patrick Hizon) on a limited-edition red color vinyl!
