2001年3月7日にボーカル・デュオ“CHEMISTRY” としてシングル「PIECES OF A DREAM」にてデビュー。同シングルが16週連続TOP10入りという驚異的なロングセラーを記録、ファーストアルバム『The Way We Are』は300万枚のモンスターヒットとなる。同年、NHK紅白歌合戦に初出場した。
2021年、20周年イヤーファイナルとして日本武道館公演を敢行、同時に3枚目のベスト・アルバムをリリース、CD総売上枚数1,800万枚を誇る日本を代表するボーカル・デュオとなった。
現在、CHEMISTRYは25周年イヤー真っ只中、精力的にライブ活動を展開中。

He made his debut on March 7, 2001, as part of the vocal duo CHEMISTRY with the single PIECES OF A DREAM.
The song became a major long-selling hit, remaining in the Top 10 for 16 consecutive weeks. Their first album, The Way We Are, sold over three million copies.
That same year, they made their first appearance on NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.
In 2021, marking the finale of their 20th anniversary year, they performed at Nippon Budokan and released their third greatest hits album. With total CD sales exceeding 18 million copies, they have established themselves as one of Japan’s leading vocal duos.
Currently, CHEMISTRY is celebrating its 25th anniversary year and continues to perform actively.
