悲しみや落ち込みから生まれた音楽ジャンル「ブルース」に影響を受け、自身の造語である「ブルージーに生きろ（Live Bluesy）」をテーマに掲げる。ネガティブな感情や出来事をクリエイティブへと昇華し、肯定する音楽を届けている。

Salasa is a singer-songwriter from Shonan, Japan, who officially launched her career with the release of her debut single "The Island of Nail" in July 2021. With a free-spirited creative vision and a unique perspective, she crafts music that blends elements of soul, R&B, rock, and other genres, captivating listeners with melancholic melodies and her soulful, expressive voice.
In 2025, she released "Thinking of You" and successfully completed her largest headlining tour to date, Thinking of You TOUR 2025.
In January 2026, she released "YOU," her first song to be featured as the ending theme for a television drama. On August 5, she will make her major-label debut through EPIC Records Japan with the mixtape EP Live Bluesy. She is also scheduled to embark on a tour across Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka in the fall.
Inspired by the blues—a genre born from sorrow and hardship—Salasa embraces her own philosophy, "Live Bluesy." Through her music, she transforms negative emotions and life experiences into creativity, encouraging listeners to embrace every part of themselves.

Salasa’s second album marks a bold step into new territory, incorporating elements of pop, rock, and folk into her signature groovy sound. Originally released in 2024, *Golden Child* returns on vinyl in a long-awaited second pressing, presented on clear lime yellow vinyl.
Built around Salasa’s distinctive groove rooted in soul and R&B, the album reveals a wide range of musical expressions. Highlights include “Shukufuku,” which incorporates elements of pop and rock; “Tooku Made,” reminiscent of Japanese Showa-era folk songs; and “Yokan,” carried by a pleasantly weightless melody.
The album features a diverse lineup of producers and musicians, including Kota Matsukawa, Shuta Nishida, and uin. Salasa’s unfiltered perspective shines throughout, transforming free-flowing ideas, unique observations, and even negative emotions into affirming music.
