'02 年からソロ活動を始め、コンピレーションアルバムに多数参加。
Bluebadge label 「guitar pop crazy!」 に 「空色メロディ」、my charm ornament #09 「ファンタスティックファンタジー」 に 「赤い目のジル」、philia records 「Easy living Vol.1」 に 「雪虫」、TKO new music corporation 「渋谷系インディーポップコレクションVol.1」 に 「雨をひとさじ」 でそれぞれ参加。
また、my charm #11 にて 「さよならの花」 で歌唱参加。 ゲーム「永久皇帝少女~島の魔法使い編」オープニング曲「Endless dream」歌唱担当。
'10 年から活動休止していたが、2016 年2 月、the Sweet Onions の高口大輔をトータルサウンドプロデューサーとして迎え、14 曲入りフルアルバム 「Looking for a key」 を発 売。20年にblue-very labelよりsplit ep series “IVORY PAST/Shino Kobayashi”をリリース。2024年 春 8年ぶりのセカンド・アルバム「The Wind Carries Scents Of Flowers」を、2024年暮れにsmall gardenとの架空のサウンドトラック企画シングル「Mijn Nijntje」同レーベルよりリリース。

From 1999 to 2002, she was in charge of lyrics, composition and vocals in the band Harmony hatch.
In 2000, she released two albums, "Cake Cake Cake" and "Ichigo Ichigo Ichigo Ichigo", from coa records.
She started her solo career in 2002 and has participated in many compilation albums.
She participated in Bluebadge label's "guitar pop crazy!" with "Sky Blue Melody", my charm ornament #09 "Fantastic Fantasy" with "Red Eye Jill", philia records' "Easy living Vol.1" with "Snow Bug", and TKO new music corporation's "Shibuya-kei Indie Pop Collection Vol.1" with "A Spoon of Rain".
She also participated in my charm #11 with "Goodbye Flower". She also sang the opening song "Endless Dream" for the game "Eternal Emperor Girl - Island Wizard Edition".
The group had been on hiatus since 2010, but in February 2016, they welcomed Daisuke Takaguchi of the Sweet Onions as their total sound producer and released the 14-song full album "Looking for a key". In 2020, they released the split ep series "IVORY PAST/Shino Kobayashi" from blue-very label. In the spring of 2024, they will release their second album "The Wind Carries Scents Of Flowers", their first in eight years, at the end of 2024, as well as the imaginary soundtrack project single "Mijn Nijntje" with small garden, from the same label.

2024年リリース Shino Kobayashi セカンド・アルバム「The Wind Carries Scents Of Flowers」の流れを汲む複数ミュージシャンと制作した新たな書き下ろし４曲入りクリスマスシングル「Winter Letters」を200枚限定でレコードの日にリリース。
北海道のネオアコ・アーティストalvysinger (Koushi Ono)と作り上げた「blue mint christmas」Track1は元Johnny Dee/101 Dalmatians/元Thee Windless GatesのギタリストTsuyoshi Shimodaもゲストに!! 瑞々しいアルペジオが印象的な軽快ナンバーで、ネオアコ・マナーなKoushi Onoの絶妙アレンジと云えます。
Shino Kobayashiが参加した信州のインディー・ポップ・ユニット、タンタンルドルフ「トナカイの夜」Track2は FMまつもと の音楽番組 “Hickory Sound Excursion” ナビゲートもされているHisashi Kunoが作詞/作曲/演奏した楽曲で、アートワークを担当しているFumika Arasawaとのツインボーカルが愛らしい１曲。またインディーレーベルの良心老舗chocolate & lemonadeオーナーも長野という繋がりで参加している。以前番組で放送されていたが、今回初音源化!!
Track3「午後にはシュトーレン」は作曲にThe Bookmarcs/the Sweet Onions/そしてソロとして活躍中のKentaro Kondoが作曲、またMasahito Oikawaと共同でバックトラック～アレンジを担当。鈴の音から高鳴る季節感に粒立ちよい装飾音がカラフルなイルミネイティブさを与える美麗ソフトロック・テイストな１曲。
またTrack4「wheat and rice」はバックトラックを全てMasahito Oikawa (近藤健太郎やRicarope等プロデューサー) が担当した。メロウなワルツナンバーでエンディングには愛らしい犬の鳴き声が納められている。
アートワークはFumika Arasawaが担当。またマスタリングはSeiki Sato氏 (microstar) が担当し楽曲の素晴らしさを更に磨きを掛けました。
Shino Kobayashiが創る愛らしい歌詞世界、そして儚げな歌声と優しいメロディが今年のクリスマスを彩り、そっと寄り添います。

Information
Shino Kobayashi will release his second album "The Wind Carries Scents Of Flowers" in 2024. The new Christmas single "Winter Letter" will be released on Record Day with 200 copies limited to 4 songs written by multiple musicians.
Track 1 of "blue mint Christmas" created with Hokkaido neo-acoustic artist alvysinger (Koushi Ono) also features former Johnny Dee/101 Dalmatians/former Thee Windless Gates guitarist Takeshi Shimoda as a guest! It is a light-hearted number with an impressive fresh arpeggio, and can be said to be an exquisite arrangement by Koushi Ono in the neo-acoustic manner.
Track 2 of "Reindeer Night" by TantanRudolph, an indie pop unit from Shinshu, in which Shino Kobayashi participated, is written, composed and performed by Hisashi Kuno, who also hosts FM Matsumoto's music program "Hickory Sound Excursion", and features an adorable twin vocal with Fumika Arasawa, who is in charge of the artwork. The owner of the conscientious and long-established indie label Chocolate & Lemonade also participated due to his connection to Nagano. This was previously broadcast on the program, but this is the first time it has been released on audio!!
Track 3 "Stollen in the Afternoon" was composed by The Bookmarcs/the Sweet Onions/and Kentaro Kondo, who is currently active as a solo artist, and was also in charge of the backtrack and arrangement in collaboration with Masahito Oikawa. This is a beautiful soft rock-style song with a seasonal feeling that rises from the sound of bells, and a colorful, illuminated feel with well-defined ornamental sounds.
In addition, the backing tracks for Track 4 "Wheat and Rice" were all created by Masahito Oikawa (producer of Kondo Kentaro, Ricarope, etc.). It is a mellow waltz number with an adorable dog barking at the , so Cute!!
Beautiful artwork was done by Fumika Arasawa. Mastering was done by Seiki Sato (microstar), further enhancing the greatness of the song.
Shino Kobayashi's adorable lyrics, his fleeting singing voice and sweet melody will color this Christmas and gently accompany you.
