Information

Ronnie Barron, who created the core of the New Orleans sound with Dr. John, created this album "The Smile of Life" in 1978, produced by Haruomi Hosono.
For this reissue, Makoto Kubota, the album's co-producer, has remastered the album.
The New Orleans recording features members of The Meters, while the Tokyo recording features members of Tin Pan Alley and The Sunset Gang.
