佐藤奈々子（Nanaco Sato）
1977年、佐野元春との共作アルバム『Funny Walkin'』でデビュー。4枚のソロ作や加藤和彦プロデュースのバンド「SPY」を経てカメラマンへ転向し、5年間パリで暮らす。帰国後の1996年にはアルバムを日英米でリリースし、タイトル曲が日本人初の英NME誌「single of the week」に選出。ピチカート・ファイヴに提供した「Twiggy Twiggy」は世界的大ヒットを記録した。写真家としては細野晴臣らのCDジャケット等を撮影、ナレーターとしてはヘーベルハウスのCM「はーい」の声でも知られる。国内外のレーベルから作品を発表し、そのコケティッシュなウィスパーヴォイスは「渋谷系の元祖」と評された。近年もレコード制作や精力的なライブなど、多才な表現者として世界を舞台に活動を続けている。

Nanaco Sato, a songstress possessing an unparalleled whisper voice, is releasing a 7-inch single featuring two rare, unreleased tracks from her collaborations with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Motoharu Sano. Both are highly valuable recordings being released commercially for the very first time.
One track is "Fashion Energy," a techno-pop tune specially written by Ryuichi Sakamoto for an apparel brand's commercial, featuring Nanaco on vocals. Recorded in February 1986, Sakamoto himself also played the instruments on the track.
The other track is "Twilight Lovers," which was recorded during the 1979 sessions for Sato's masterpiece album Kissing Fish but has remained unreleased until now. It is a mellow, romantic slow ballad composed by Motoharu Sano.

唯一無二のウィスパーヴォイスを持つ歌姫・佐藤奈々子。彼女が坂本龍一、佐野元春それぞれとコラボレーションした幻の2曲を、7インチシングルでリリース。いずれも今回が初商品化となる貴重な音源。
1曲は、某アパレルメーカーのCMのために坂本龍一が書き下ろし、ヴォーカルに佐藤奈々子を迎えたテクノポップ「ファッション・エナジー」。この楽曲は1986年2月に録音され、坂本龍一自身が演奏も手掛けている。
もう1曲は、1979年に発表された佐藤奈々子の名盤『キッシング・フィッシュ』のセッション時に録音されながらも、これまで未発表となっていた「黄昏の恋人たち」。佐野元春が作曲を手掛けたメロウでロマンチックなスローバラード。
ジャケットのアートワークは我喜屋位瑳務によるもの。
