2007年6月24日、鬼才の麗人マリアンヌ東雲（歌と電気オルガン）を中心に女性4人で創業(結成)。昨年、創業15周年記念公演を迎え、突如として発表されたマリアンヌ東雲以外、全従業員（メンバー）退職(脱退)のお知らせ。突然のアナウンスで胞子（ファン）をざわつかせた。
そしてマリアンヌ東雲1人となり実演活動を休止したキノコホテルだったが...ついに2023年6月14日には全10曲からなる2年ぶり、9枚目の新作アルバム『マリアンの教典』を発売。そして6月24日には、創業16周年記念単独実演会を東京キネマ倶楽部にて営業(活動)再開。今後はパートタイム従業員（サポートメンバー）を起用した新体制をとるキノコホテルの新章開幕に注目が集まっている。

Kinoco Hotel was founded (formed) on 24 June 2007 by four women, led by the brilliant and beautiful Marianne Shinonome (singing and electric organ). Last year, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the founding of the company, it was suddenly announced that all employees (members), except Marianne Shinonome, had retired (left the company). The sudden announcement ruffled the spores (fans).
And then Marianne Shinonome became the only one and Mushroom Hotel suspended its demonstration activities, but... Finally, on 14 June 2023, they released their ninth new album in two years, 'Marianne's Teaching', consisting of 10 songs. And on 24 June, the company resumed business (activities) with a solo demonstration at Tokyo Kinema Club to celebrate its 16th anniversary. The opening of a new chapter for Kinoko Hotel, which will adopt a new structure with part-time employees (support members), is attracting a lot of attention.

Marianne's Teachings, a work representing the start of a new chapter for Kinoko Hotel, is released on LP! This is the ninth album in two years, in which Marianne Shinonome, now alone, pursues her own unique musical world even more voraciously with the same stance as before, together with a selection of part-time employees. It contains a total of 10 songs, all written, composed and arranged by Marianne Shinonome!
