愛媛県今治市出身
3才よりピアノをはじめる。1988年 国立音大リトミック科に入学するも課外活動に忙しい学生時代。慶應のジャズ研に入り浸りバンド活動を開始。1994年渡仏 フランス各地でライブを行う。
【アヤコレット とは？】
詩・映画のシナリオ・絵本など、 多様な言葉にメロディをのせて、ピアノを弾きながら歌う歌手。 初期は長きに渡ってAmephoneの作品に多く参加。（amepone feeling ayacollette esquisse2/3 etc）即興を多用したプレイは、ジャズ評論家 副島輝人氏に 前衛POP（アヴァンギャルド・ポップ）と評される。2005年 国際交流基金の支援を受けてフランス 各都市でコンサートを行ない、日仏の子供のための音楽と言葉で遊ぶイベント 「音だま言だまフランコジャポネ」を各地で開催。2010年より自身で企画するピアノに焦点を当てるイベント「curious piano night」を工藤冬里、塚本真一と共に10年間開催。2022年 久々にリリースしたアルバム「painlessly痛みなしに 」はトルコのj-popチャート6位にランクイン！キースジャレットのカバー曲「country 」がドイツのitunes jazzvideochartで1位に入る。フランスではアヤコレットPV「恋するミラノ」が23位にランクイン。
現在10枚目のアルバム「アヤコレットプラスワン」を制作中。
細野晴臣バンドのドラム伊藤大地、小島真由美バンドのギター塚本功、ハープとギターのティコムーンなど。豪華14名とデュオのカバーアルバムが2023年11月にリリース予定。

Ayacollette profile
A singer-songwriter who sings while freely playing the piano with melodies on various words such as poetry, picture books, and movie scenarios.Born in Ehime Prefecture, she started piano at the age of three and entered National University of Music, but joined the jazz lab at Keio University and began her band activities.she went to France in 1994, and released his first album, "Ayacollette Live!"The improvised pop is described as avant-garde pop by jazz critic SoejimaTeruto .With the support of the 2005 International Exchange Fund,
she performed live performances throughout France."The album ""Painlessly Without Pain"" released after a long time in 2022 is ranked 6th on Turkey's j-pop chart!
