ブラジル・サンパウロ生まれ。10歳までの幼少時代をブラジルで過ごし、15歳からギターを弾きながら歌い始める。 1989年デビュー。ナチュラルな歌声、リズミカルなギター、チャーミングな笑顔で瞬く間にボサノヴァを日本中に広める。
ボサノヴァの神様 アントニオ・カルロス・ジョビンや、ジャズ・サンバの巨匠 ジョアン・ドナートら著名なアーティストとの共演や、ニューヨークやブラジル、アジア各国での公演も積極的に行っており、海外においても高い評価を得ている。1999年アルバム「ドリーム」が20万枚を越えるヒットを記録するなど、これまでに日本ゴールドディスク大賞「ジャズ部門」を4度受賞。2013年にはブラジル政府よりリオ・ブランコ国家勲章を授与される等、日本におけるボサノヴァの第一人者としてその地位を不動のものとしている。

Born in São Paulo, Brazil. She spent her childhood in Brazil until the age of 10, and started singing while playing the guitar at the age of 15. Debuted in 1989. With her natural singing voice, rhythmic guitar, and charming smile, Bossa Nova spread all over Japan in an instant.
She has performed with famous artists such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, the god of bossa nova, and João Donato, a master of jazz and samba. She has also received high acclaim overseas. Her 1999 album "Dream" sold over 200,000 copies, and she has won the Japan Gold Disc Award "Jazz category" four times. In 2013, she was awarded the Order of the Rio Branco by the Brazilian government, making her position as the foremost bossa nova in Japan.

「Winter Wonderland」「Silent Night」などのアメリカのクリスマスソングや、「Depois Do Natal」「Boas Festas」などのブラジルのクリスマスソングなど、冬を温めるウィンター・ボッサが収録されています。

To commemorate the 65th anniversary of the birth of bossa nova, Lisa Ono's vinyl record release project.
Following August's "BOSSA CARIOCA" and "BOSSA HULA NOVA" is Lisa Ono's Christmas album.
Released in 2000, "Boas Festas" is the first Christmas album produced by Lisa Ono herself.
There are winter bossas to warm the winter, such as American Christmas songs such as "Winter Wonderland" and "Silent Night" and Brazilian Christmas songs such as "Depois Do Natal" and "Boas Festas".
